Since joining QLT in 1998, Mr. Butchofsky has played an integral role in the successful launch and commercialization of QLT's lead drug, Visudyne. He was appointed vice president, marketing and sales planning in September 2001.

Dr. David Kwok is the founder and current President and CEO of BRI. Dr. Kwok is a key scientific and technical member at BRI, providing the company with a broad scope of drug development experience and practical expertise on many challenging technical issues encountered during preclinical development.
Dr. Kwok graduated with a Pharmacy Bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia, followed by his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in medicinal analytical chemistry in 1991. He served in a variety of management and scientific positions at Health Canada from 1991 to 1998, responsible for botanical safety and quality control, anti-microbial drug resistance and veterinary drug safety laboratory programs.

Mr. Rae is currently President and CEO of iCo Therapeutics, Inc., an ocular development company he co-founded in 2005. Andrew has spent a decade in the biotechnology industry, formerly as CFO with Ability Biomedical Corporation (Irvine CA, Vancouver BC), acquired by Medarex, Inc. in 2004.

Dr. Boivin is Cardiome's Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Manufacturing. Dr. Boivin has over 18 years of Pharmaceutical Development experience in both multi-national and start-up pharmaceutical operations.

Early in her career, Dr. Boivin was a founding member of the Glaxo Canada (Now GSK) Pharmaceutical Development organization and was instrumental in growing the operation into a world-class R&D facility.
While at GSK, Dr. Boivin's work involved progression of development programmes in a wide range of areas including treatments for oncology related emesis, HIV, malaria, ulcers, and asthma.

Following 11 years with Glaxo, Dr. Boivin assumed the responsibility of Business Manager, Life Sciences at Agilent Technologies Inc. (formerly Hewlett Packard) where she led a sales, service, and marketing operation in Central and Western Canada.
More recently, she was Principal of Level 10 BioSciences Ltd., a privately held consulting company on the West Coast., and just prior to joining Cardiome, was Vice President, Pharmaceutical Development at Oncogenex Technologies in Vancouver.

Mark attended New York University and MIT from which he graduated in 1961 as an Electrical Engineer. Employed by the Bendix Corporation, he developed digital electronics for "dead reckoning" of navigation systems and was later assigned to work at MIT Instrumentation Labs as Resident Staff Engineer, where he assisted in the development of the Guidance and Control computers for the Apollo phase of the US Space Program.

Dr. Tony Brooks has joined Genome British Columbia as Chief Financial Officer.

Dr. Brooks is a Chartered Accountant (CA), and also holds a Ph.D. in developmental biology from the University of London, England.

Prior to joining Genome British Columbia, he was a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Vancouver Life Sciences group, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of early stage private and later stage public clients. He has extensive experience in providing accounting and assurance services and advising companies on corporate governance, internal controls and general business matters. He is knowledgeable in US and Canadian GAAP and has worked on a number of public and private equity and debt offerings. Dr. Brooks joined PwC in 1995 and spent three years in their San Jose, California office.

Before coming to North America, Dr. Brooks articled in Glasgow, Scotland where he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

Dr. Brooks is responsible for the Genome BC finance department, including internal and external financial reporting, developing and monitoring budgets, and overseeing financial control of projects.

Jeff Charpentier was appointed as the Company's Chief Financial Officer on June 28, 2010. Prior to this over the course of the past fifteen years, Mr. Charpentier has held a series of senior financial roles at several public companies in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors where he led multiple equity financings raising in excess of $125 million.

He is experienced with public issuer reporting requirements in both Canada and the U.S. and has extensive experience in high-growth technology sectors. From January 2008 to May 2010, Mr. Charpentier served as VP Finance & CFO for Lignol Energy Corporation, a company in the cleantech sector.

From June 2006 until February 2009, he served as VP Finance & CFO of Chromos Molecular Systems Inc. (now Calyx Bio-Ventures Inc.). Prior to this, from 2005 to 2006 Mr. Charpentier was Director of Finance with Sierra Wireless Inc.

From 1994 through 2004 Mr. Charpentier was employed with Inex Pharmaceuticals Corporation (now Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp.) where he served as VP Finance & CFO. In addition to serving as CFO for BioWest, Mr. Charpentier provides general management services and financial expertise services to a number of other companies, in particular in the biotech and technology sectors. Mr. Charpentier has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Accountant (BC).

April 16, 2008 - Chemokine Therapeutics announced the appointment of Walter Korz as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to becoming President and CEO, Korz was Vice President of Drug Development at Chemokine Therapeutics Corp.

Mr. Korz has been with the Company since March 2003 serving as Vice President of Drug Development.
His multi-disciplinary experience spans seventeen years in the biotechnology sector as well as an additional ten years in the healthcare sector.

He brings with him a broad drug development background, including experience in regulatory, clinical, business development and medical affairs.

His experience with therapeutic and diagnostic research drugs encompasses various indications including cancer, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis. Prior to joining Chemokine, from 2000 to 2003 he held the position of Clinical Development Manager with Angiotech Pharmaceuticals overseeing their systemic therapeutics.

Mr. Korz's experience includes overseeing the development of diagnostic and therapeutic products with AltaRex Corp. in Edmonton and Boston. His initial drug development, clinical and regulatory experiences were gained with Biomira Inc.

Most recently Dr. Clement served as Director, Business Development at QLT Inc., one of Canada's largest biotechnology companies and developer of Visudyne®, a $500M+ product used to treat age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Clement has also served as Director, Extramural Research/Associate Director, Biochemical Pharmacology & Toxicology at Biochem Pharma Inc., known as the pioneer of the AIDS drug 3TC.

He was also research scientist & manager with Department of National Defence (DND) and a Research Scientist with CIBA-Geigy Canada Ltd. During his tenure with DND he held various scientific leadership / management positions and was responsible for the development of a new antidote for nerve agent poisoning (HI-6).

He possesses a PhD from the University of Western Ontario and has published over 60 scientific articles.

Dr. Incledon has joined the Company as Vice President, Research and Development since August 2009 leading all research and development projects and evaluating related business development opportunities. Dr. Incledon is a strategic and deliberative scientist who brings into the Company with more than 14 years of pharmaceutical industry experiences and extensive knowledge in drug development and manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Pacgen, Dr. Incledon held several positions with increasingly senior responsibilities before assuming his role as Director, Research and Development at Eli Lilly Canada Inc. from April 2000 to June 2009. Dr. Incledon also held various research and scientist positions at Glaxo Wellcome Inc. (Canada), University of Guelph, Syntex Inc., and the Canadian Red Cross Society.

Dr. Incledon was a Post Doctoral Fellow at Cornell University. Dr. Incledon obtained his Ph.D. degree in Biophysics and Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Applied Biochemistry with a Minor in Biomedical Technology from the University of Guelph.

Dr. Anh Ho holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Montreal, Canada. After working as a Research Scientist at the Bureau of Drug Research, Health Canada for 3½ years, she joined the Pharmaceutical Industry occupying different important positions in Regulatory Affairs such as Manager and Director of Department.

During a 20-year career, Dr Ho has acquired hands-on experience of Canadian and International drug laws and regulations, as well as solid knowledge of the FDA requirements, Canadian Therapeutic Products Directorate (TPD) and ICH guidelines.

During her career, she participated with R&D project teams in the design of clinical trials that fulfilled both national and international requirements; organized numerous pre-IND and pre-NDS meetings with the regulatory agencies; and managed many drug submissions and registrations including IND, NDS, and s/NDS in different therapeutic areas (i.e. oncology, endocrinology and metabolism, central nervous system, antiinfectives, etc.).

During the final 3 years of working as a Director of Regulatory Affairs for a multinational company, Dr. Ho was responsible for the development of regulatory strategic planning to reduce time for drug development, in order to bring innovative products to market in a timely and cost efficient manner. Dr. Ho is also a member of the Ordre des Pharmaciens du Quebec and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AAPS).

Dr. Ho joined the Company in 2000. She orchestrated and designed the novel regulatory strategy for the development of TTX-based products. Under her leadership, the Company filed its 1st IND in Canada and is currently progressing into Phase IIb/III stage. In 2002, Dr. Ho became our Chief Scientific Officer. Besides overseeing our scientific research projects, she also participated in the completion of the licensing agreement with our European partner.
