As a member of the TELUS technology team, Eros leads the creation and execution of TELUS' integrated wireline and wireless technology strategy and evolution. In his new role, Eros is responsible for determining TELUS' overall technology direction.

Eros identifies opportunities, establishes the long-term direction of TELUS networks, and implements new technologies and services such as TELUS TV and CDMA wireless broadband services. He also leads a team responsible for designing the converged network for TELUS.

Prior to this role, Eros served as the executive vice president and chief technology officer of TELUS Mobility, where he successfully integrated TELUS Mobility's network operations after the acquisition of Clearnet Communications in 2000.

Prior to this position Eros held the executive positions of chief technology officer and chief information officer at Clearnet where he led the team that built both national iDEN (Mike) and PCS networks. Prior to joining Clearnet in 1995, Eros held senior management positions in engineering and marketing at Bell Mobility.

Eros holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Windsor in 1984 as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in 1995.

Mr. Hollander has practiced in the field of forensic accounting since 1985. His criminal investigative work, including a 3½-year engagement with the RCMP, has included cases of suspected fraud (including payroll fraud in a major government department), homicide for profit, and possession of or dealing in proceeds of crime. In the area of civil law, he has dealt with a wide variety of cases, from breach of contract to commercial fraud.

He is currently Coordinator of Economic Crime Studies at Centre for Forensic and Security Technology Studies at BCIT.

Mr. Hollander's chief research interest is the application of data-mining technologies to the screening of property and casualty insurance claims for fraud.

Teaching Chemical Biology - molecular mimicry, glycomimetics, protein-ligand interactions, immunochemistry, enzyme inhibitors, NMR/molecular modeling, drug and vaccine design

Our group is studying the nature and origin of carbohydrate mimicry for the purpose of drug and vaccine design. We take our leads from molecular mimicry displayed by Nature. Our goals are the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of recognition that can be used to tailor specific immune responses or inhibit specific enzymatic reactions. The results have implications for the control or treatment of bacterial and viral diseases, diabetes Type 2, and cancer.

Dr. Pinto was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka and received his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. from Queen's University. Dr. Pinto served as Chair of the Chemistry Department from 1999-2004, and is currently Vice-President, Research at Simon Fraser University.

Dr. Pinto received the 1992 Horace S. Isbell Award of the American Chemical Society, the 1993 Merck Frosst Award of the Canadian Society for Chemistry (CSC), the 2002 Bernard Belleau Award of the CSC, and the 2005 British Columbia Innovation Council Frontiers in Research Award.

He is a Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada, and was elected to the Academy of Sciences of the Royal Society of Canada in 2003. Dr. Pinto is a pioneer in the field of chemical biology, having developed novel NMR/molecular modeling protocols for protein structure determination and the study of ligand topographies essential for drug and vaccine design, and is the founder of Mimos Therapeutics Inc.

With an exceptionally strong record of research funding, Dr. Pinto also has a proven ability to attract investment. He has brought in approximately $5 million in funding as Principal Investigator since 2000, and has been co-PI on 20 grants in this same time period.

As IMT's President, Ian Grady has been involved in surveying and mapping since 1984. After several seasons as a mine surveyor for various gold exploration ventures, Ian "saw the light" and turned his focus above ground, mapping the surface of the earth rather than what lies beneath.

After close to five years in the mapping industry, Ian joined IMT six months after its incorporation as a photogrammetrist. Through his natural leadership skills and willingness to accept personnel responsibility, Ian soon took over the roles of Production Manager, General Manager, and Vice President. In 2002, he became President of IMT. During his tenure, Ian oversaw the company's dominance of the Province of British Columbia's TRIM and TRIM II projects.

Ian has an extensive background in softcopy photogrammetry and is very skilled in project and corporate management.
